Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of S t. Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization. Our volunteers visit the poor and suffering in their homes, provide companionship, listen and discern the needs of those they visit. We provide material assistance most often for rent, utility, food, gas, and goods and clothing from our thrift store. Although our efforts help people, your Vincentians perform this work to spread hope, love, and charity to people in need, putting their faith into action!
Who do we serve? Those we serve come from all segments of society: The elderly, single parents, the working poor, homeless families and individuals, the unemployed or those struggling to stay afloat after on-the-job injuries have rendered them unable to work, those on public assistance and those who are not served or underserved by other agencies.
Our Immaculate Conception Church Conference is a small group of dedicated parishioners. We invite you to join us in helping our neighbors in the Arlington area. If you are unable to join us please support us with your prayers and consider a donation. We are completely financed by the generosity of the ICC parish yet almost every month the needs of the community exceed our funds. With negligible overhead, almost every penny you donate goes directly to help one of our local brothers and sisters in need.
To receive more information please contact the ICC office. You may electronically donate through the ICC on-line giving program or the SVdP envelopes available in the church. There is also a special collection on the first weekend of each month for SVdP. Thank you for helping us serve God’s children!
