Fr. Tyler Johnson, Priest Administrator, Associate Vocations Director for the Diocese
Fr. Tyler Johnson was raised in Centralia, WA and attended St. Mary Parish growing up. After High School he attended Centralia Community College, and then Central Washington University, receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts. After a short career in graphic art, he felt God's call to become a priest and entered Mt. Angel Seminary in 2013. After completing his philosophy requirements at Mt. Angel, he was sent to the Pontifical North American College in Rome for theology. He completed an S.T.B. at the Pontifical Gregorian University and then studied spiritual theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas for a year. Fr. Tyler was ordained to the priesthood of Jesus Christ on June 22, 2019 at St. James Cathedral in Seattle. His first assignment was Parochial Vicar at Holy Family Parish in Kirkland from 2019-2021. He is currently the Priest Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish in Arlington, and St. John Vianney Mission in Darrington. Fr. Tyler is also an Associate Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of Seattle, focusing on vocations promotion.
